Twitter Rant:

For many there is a disconnect between the scenese of immigrants pouring out the side of a truck somewhere down South, and the world they see when they peer out of their window.

When I look outside my window, I see the same quiet neighbourhood, with the occasional postman doing his rounds, yet, I do not decieve myself into thinking that such a view could never change, despite how many scenes I see of immigrants making their way onto our beaches.

Of course it can change, and will change, as long as our politicians are allowed to further their campaign to fragment our society, that we might never find the unity required to remove them.

It’s only a matter of time until the stories I read online, whereby someone has been stabbed by an immigrant, outside a coffee shop in front of his wife and child; or a 12-year old girl has been raped by someone whose own culture allows such behaviour, is outside my front door.

It’s inevitable.
